“Put into the world what without you may never exist.”

This quote is deep. It tells us a few things:

1. 1. We are unique and our existence offers something special to this world
   2. We possess a special gift that is meant to be put into the world
   3. Without us, something special would not exist
   4. When you become more yourself, you’re becoming more of what the world needs

The quote is very grounding. It makes me stop and ponder the pieces of myself that are unique and that I offer this world.

What pieces of your personality do you see as unique and additive to our world? What gifts do you have to share with others? What is it that YOU are here in this world to do?

For the past few months I have found life difficult to navigate. I often struggle with figuring out what it is exactly that I am here in this world to do. I started to lose my sense of self. Questioning why I’m here, what I should be doing, and where I’m supposed to go next. Can you relate?

Here’s what we should do. Take a piece of paper and at the top write “put into the world what without you may never exist” then below that title begin to brainstorm and write down the gifts that you offer our world.

Is it your laugh? Your charismatic personality? Are you a great coach? Is it your ability to listen to the trials of others? Is it the lessons you’ve learned from your childhood and the way you inspire others to overcome their own adversity? Are you a hugger? A lover? A great singer? The list goes on and on.

When you begin to question your existence or purpose or even doubt yourself, I want you to take a moment to pause. Take a moment to reflect. Take a moment to ground yourself in WHO you are, and the authenticity of your being.

Without you, what would our world be missing? What piece of your personality do you bring into our world? And what piece of it do you express in the most true fashion?

I sit here asking myself these very questions. You are never alone in experiencing the doubt, the uncertainty, or the questioning of your purpose. I believe that one day, near or far, we will both find out what we put into this world and for without us would not exist.
